Story Edge World Exhibition – Call for Submissions

Loading map...

Submit and showcase your interactive digital projects to a new audience.

The rule is that there is no rule or standard as to what can be created. What we want is for you to challenge storytelling and take it to the “edge”. We want projects that challenge the rules, defy expectations, and bend the boundaries of interactivity in unexpected ways. In the past, projects have ranged from installations, mobile devices to hardware. Projects can rely on audio, smell, touch, vision, and/or mobility.

There is only one expectation: the audience must be engaged and able to interact with the project.

Doc Edge is seeking submissions of New Media Installations, Outdoor Video, Single Channel Video and Animation, Multimedia Performance, Interactive Installations for Children, Experimental or Interactive Documentary, Augmented Reality, Mobile Device Apps, Art-Gaming, Web-Art and Virtual Reality Environments.

Selected projects will screen or showcase at Story Edge World Exhibition held in Auckland 25-26 May 2018 during Doc Edge Festival. Projects will have to be completed by May 1, 2018.

Besides the opportunity to show your project to a wide audience, we offer creators of the selected projects a small stipend.
